Reuters appoints editorial advisory board

Reuters named an international editorial advisory board of 22 "global thought leaders" and said it held its first meeting earlier on Tuesday.

Stephen Adler, editor-in-chief, said the panel had been assembled to share with Reuters their insight into the sectors of finance, technology, media, law, government, tax and other areas of interest to Reuters customers world-wide.

“I’m excited about the possibilities that can come out of conversations with such a wide-ranging and esteemed group of global thought leaders,” Adler said. “It’s never been more important for us to hear from different parts of the world, different sectors of our businesses, and the different communities that are influencing our businesses and lives. Our hope is that it will enable all of us to make smarter choices in our coverage of news and trends to serve our users better.”
