Dinosaurs gathered in Paris

De Gaulle, the Ayatollah Khomeini, the fall of Saigon, the Yom Kippur War, the Charlie Hebdo attack - former correspondents and editors of Reuters France swapped tales of their work in the Paris bureau and beyond over lunch in the shadow of Le Louvre today.

It was the latest in periodic gatherings of the "Paris Dinosaurs," a tradition nurtured by the late Bernard Edinger.
