Baron's Bashers urged to spread the word

The annual Baron's Bash, bringing together mostly former Editorial colleagues to swap anecdotes, sip wine and savour lunch, was urged to spread the word to potential new participants when it met in south London on March 23rd.

The march of time and the incurable tendency of participants to roam the world meant there were a few less attendees than in earlier years. But the response to a question of whether the Bash should bash on was met with a unanimous "Yes!"

Not only that, but members of the group sounded out ideas for introducing others to a gathering with no agenda other than enjoying an afternoon at Dulwich & Sydenham Golf Club (golf not included). Bash organisers Tony Winning and Jeremy Toye were urged to seek out other former colleagues, invite current Editorial employees and reinforce links with families of former Bashers.
