Analysts expect lower Thomson Reuters Q2 earnings

Wall Street is expecting Thomson Reuters to report lower profit in its second quarter results on Wednesday.

Analysts expect earnings per share of 47 cents compared with 48 cents a year ago.

The consensus estimate remains unchanged over the past month, but it has decreased from three months ago when it was 48 cents. Analysts are projecting earnings of $1.91 per share for the fiscal year. Analysts project revenue to fall 1 per cent year-over-year to $3.13 billion for the quarter, from $3.18 billion a year ago. For the year, revenue is expected to come in at $12.66 billion. ■
