Yannis: one of the greats

Yannis Behrakis undoubtedly was one of the greats in the pantheon of world news photography. He was brave, resourceful, compassionate and of course highly talented. His body of work - most recently his deeply moving images of desperate Mediterranean refugees - will be a lasting legacy. So sad such greatness has been so prematurely taken from us. RIP Yannis. ■
