Reminiscences

I well remember passing through those hallowed portals for my job interview with Geoffrey Imeson and countless times thereafter [The Trolley, first TV chef and other food memories of 85 Fleet Street]. It had its own lousy restaurant on the 8th floor which I quickly learned never to use. There were several good eateries and drinkeries in and around Fleet Street in those days. ■
