Michael Arkus, so cool

Sad to hear of Michael’s death. He was passing through the World Desk on Fleet Street when I joined in 1973 and I knew then this was what I wanted to be - like him. He was phoning people in multiple languages. And he was cool. Big influence on my career. DEP, Michael. ■
