Allan Barker, pioneer

Very sad news. Allan was a pioneer in what we all take for granted now, that financial news needed context and explanation just like political and general news. Among his many other achievements, he founded the RBR in New York and through endless dedication made it a success. He also seemed to remember the details of every horse race he had ever seen.
