Hired as chairman, Andrew Rashbass becomes CEO at Euromoney

Former Reuters CEO Andrew Rashbass (photo) has become chief executive at Euromoney just seven weeks after joining the financial magazine as executive chairman.

After his strategic review of its business and corporate structure, the Euromoney board agreed the chairman’s role would become non-executive and a chief executive would be appointed.

Rashbass resigned from Reuters in April after less than two years in the job.

Previously, he was chief executive of The Economist.

His replacement at Reuters has yet to be named. ■
