'WAS' was a great bureau

It must be pretty disheartening to work your arse off in Washington only to be publicly told you lack depth and speed. To the contrary, in my years I always found "WAS" to be a great bureau staffed by agency professionals under some great leadership, not least Rodney Pinder and Simon Denyer, amongst others. ■
