While recovering from my stroke I have just spent two weeks in an excellent care home for journalists, Pickering House, which is owned and run by the Journalists' Charity, Michael Reupke, former editor-in-chief, writes.
There I was surprised and delighted to find three other Reuterians already in residence: Roland Dallas, former Rome bureau chief, Reg Potterton, who used to report on the UN with Michael Littlejohns, and Brian Gearing of the Sports Desk.
