Working with Ron on the London Business Unit helped me think beyond the more specialist economic news coverage of the “econ” desks and adopt a broader approach to business news. This has been very useful to me in running business journalism workshops for participants from around the world. Ron was so helpful and patient and a great colleague. Cancer is cruel but particularly so for such a nice bloke.
