Up to 60 members and guests attended The Reuter Society’s third biennial “away” event, held this year in Geneva.
The three-day jaunt from 30 April to 2 May was organised by Bob Evans, Marcus Ferrar and Mary Talbot. It included a banquet at the lakeside Hotel de la Paix, guided tours of CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, and the Red Cross Museum, a walk around Geneva's Old Town and dinners at a brasserie just across the border in France and at a new restaurant recently launched by two ex-Reuters colleagues, Nathalie and Malcolm Hyde.
